The Secret of Porta Piratica

The Secret of Porta Piratica is a Sea of Thieves fan game. It is a Tall Tale that tells the story of how your pirate ends up on Old Sailors Isle from the Maiden Voyage (a.k.a the Sea of Thieves tutorial mission). 

You are part of the crew of The Libertalia, a ship on a quest to locate the fabled Sea of Thieves. During the journey the ship falls victim to a dreadful storm and sinks, you are the only survivor. Awakening on a beach with a mysterious note in your pocket you must follow the clues, locate artefacts and solve puzzles to find a way off the island and continue your search for the Sea of Thieves! 

Sea of Thieves is the property of Rare Ltd and Xbox Game Studios. This project is a fan game made purely for fun and as a portfolio piece, I am not getting any monetary gain from this product. 

ANNIVERSARY EDITION IS OUT NOW! Featuring visual improvements and brand-new mechanics not featured in the original release! 

GAME UPDATE: The game is now on v2.0.4, some minor bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements have been made since the game was shown at SoT Fest 2024!

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have trouble running the game on Windows 11 it is recommended to run it in compatibility mode for Windows 10.

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS: Simply download the .zip file, and extract it. Then run SOTTSOPP.exe to play!

FUTURE UPDATES: I intend on adding more accessibility features enabling as many people to be able to experience the game as possible. I will be consulting with several advisors to try and achieve this over the coming months.
